We talk about all the ups and downs of running a business in a supportive and judgment free environment.
We also welcome designers, aspiring tech editors, and really anyone who likes to nerd out over knitting and math.
Hi, I’m Sarah.
I stumbled upon The Tech Editor Hub in 2015 when I was studying to be a copyeditor but longed to work in my favorite craft: knitting. I immediately jumped into the Learn to Tech Edit course and quickly launched my tech editing business. I have edited hundreds of patterns and expanded my business to include pattern grading and larger project management. I started teaching pattern grading in 2019, and currently coach designers and editors.
I purchased the Hub from its creator in 2021 and created the (awesome) Community in 2023. I love helping other creatives learn the skills that will help them grow their businesses as well as providing a platform for fantastic instruction in technical skills.
I am a knitting and numbers nerd. A hope-punk. I unabashedly read multiple books at a time while hand-making, writing in the margins. I seek beauty and joy, justice and wisdom. Love me some coffee in the morning, long walks in the woods, puppy snuggles, and wool-silk blends.
